What is a Black & White Glam Photo Booth?
A Black & White Glam Photo Booth is a premium photo experience that uses professional photography equipment, studio-quality beauty lighting and a signature black and white finish to create flattering, editorial-style portraits.

Hip Image adds professional Creative Directors who work directly with guests on posing and help create the energy and experience around the booth.
Is this the same as a Kardashian-style photo booth?
The highly polished black and white portrait style is sometimes described as a Kardashian-style photo booth or glam photo booth. Hip Image creates our own professional version of the experience using DSLR photography, studio-grade lighting and professional creative direction.
What makes the photos so flattering?
Lighting makes an enormous difference.

Our Glam Booth uses studio-grade beauty lighting designed to create soft, flattering illumination on faces. Combined with professional photography and our black and white treatment, it creates clean, polished portraits with beautiful contrast.

Our Creative Directors also help guests with positioning and posing so they look their best in front of the camera.
Do guests receive printed photos?
Yes. Guests can receive professional 4" × 6" prints on-site, creating a beautiful keepsake from the event.

Print designs can be customized with your event name, logo, campaign or other branding.
Can guests get their photos digitally?
Absolutely. Photos can be shared instantly through options including QR code, email and AirDrop, making it easy for guests to save and share their images.
Can the Glam Booth be branded?
Yes. Hip Image specializes in corporate and branded photo experiences.

We can incorporate company logos, event branding, campaign creative and custom graphics into the photo design. We can also discuss additional customization such as branded backdrops and other experiential elements.
Do you travel outside Calgary?
Yes. Hip Image is Calgary-based with a Vancouver division, and we work with clients at events throughout Western Canada and beyond. Contact us with your event location and we can discuss logistics.
Do you provide staff with the booth?
Always.

Our team is an important part of the Hip Image experience. Our equipment is professional and valuable, but more importantly, our Creative Directors actively work with guests throughout the event.

We don't simply drop off equipment and leave.
Will your team help guests pose?
Yes—and this is one of the biggest differences between Hip Image and a typical photo booth.

Our Creative Directors provide posing ideas and direction for individuals, couples and groups. We can keep things polished and editorial or encourage guests to get more creative as the event gets going.
Is the Black & White Glam Booth good for corporate events?
It’s one of our favourite corporate photo experiences because it works with such a wide range of audiences.

The photography is sophisticated enough for galas, executive events and awards nights while the actual experience is interactive and fun enough for parties, conferences and large employee celebrations.
Can we use props?
Absolutely, although they aren't necessary.

The Black & White Glam Booth looks fantastic with nothing more than great posing. But if props suit the event, Hip Image can curate options that complement the theme and overall experience rather than overwhelm the photos.
How much space does the Glam Booth require?
Space requirements depend on the backdrop, equipment and configuration selected for your event. We work with your event or venue team in advance to confirm the footprint, power and setup requirements and make sure everything runs smoothly on event day.
How long does setup take?
Setup requirements vary depending on the venue and activation. Hip Image coordinates arrival and setup timing with your event team so the experience is completely ready before guests arrive.
